Why nobody can tell you when you may drive
NHTSA states that, apart from ethanol, there is no well established correlation between blood concentration and performance impairment for any drug. There is therefore no validated formula turning a declared quantity of cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine, MDMA or opioids into an individual blood value and then into a verdict about driving.
This tool therefore shows only the nominal active quantity, where it can be calculated from exact figures, and documented effect windows. It produces no ng/ml, estimates no detection time, does not say when you will test negative, and has no green state.
Puffs do not convert into milligrams
Puffs differ in volume, duration, interval, breath holding and combustion losses. If you only know how many puffs you took, the calculator shows the time window and the warning, but does not calculate THC in mg.
European statistical scenarios
For cannabis, cocaine, MDMA and heroin the calculator can use, only if you explicitly choose it, the EUDA 2024 averages for products seized in the European Union. These are market data, not an analysis of your product, and they are labelled as such in the result.
The link with High Court Decision no. 25/2025
For the legal analysis, the presence of a substance in biological samples is not enough. Its capability to impair driving ability must also be established. That is a forensic assessment on real samples, not a calculation from what you declared. See the article on drug driving in Romania.
